” I was so thrilled with Satori. On top of having a great set list and keeping the atmosphere of the reception fun and energetic they were incredibly organized and professional. I REALLY wanted a great cover band for my wedding and they did not disappoint. I could not be any happier with my choice!”

Anthony McMullin

Anthony McMullin

Lead Vocals / Rhythm Guitar

A co founding member of Satori, Anthony McMullin resides in Halifax, NS. When asked where home is, he notes, “I’ll always think of Cape Breton as home, although over the years I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to live all across the country”. Anthony’s influences stretch from big vocal classic rock icons (Meatloaf, Freddy Mercury, Steve Perry) to some of today’s top superstars (Justin Timberlake, One Republic, Bruno Mars). “I try to keep myself up to date on what’s going on in music. There’s a ton of amazing talent / things happening right now and thus lots to learn”.

Aside from his natural love of performing, Anthony is also passionate about writing & producing music. “I’ve always taken to the creative process “ Anthony shares, “ My mom jokes that she was sure I’d grow up to become a mechanic because as a kid I was always taking things apart and putting them back together. If I hadn’t gotten into music, I probably would have done something like that”.

Jordan Leblanc

Jordan Leblanc

Lead Guitar / Backing Vocals

One of the founding members of Satori, and originally hailing from Cape Breton Island, Jordan moved to Halifax in 2008 to pursue a Music Degree from Dalhousie University. During his time at Dal, Jordan was immersed in many genres of music and played in various ensembles, such as the classical guitar orchestra, Jazz band and several duets and trios. An electric guitarist by nature, Jordan used these influences to help enhance his own personal technique. After his time in school, Jordan formed an acoustic duo with Anthony and eventually helped form Satori. He also resumed teaching the guitar – another area of his life that he is passionate about. Aside from his primary work in Satori, Jordan can be found playing with several performers around the Halifax area throughout the week and teaching lessons at DB music Centre (Beechville) during the day.

Colin Burke

Colin Burke

Bass / Keys / Backing Vocals

Colin Burke is the newest member of Satori. You will most likely see Colin bouncing around the stage and having a high energy presence in each and every performance. Growing up in Cape Breton inside a very musical family has made him a very competent multi – instrumentalist. Performing and studying at a young age has made Colin to be very comfortable on stage and this is obvious. Whether it be playing bass guitar, keys, or singing harmony he is a talented and upbeat member of Satori.

Matt Meuse - Dallien

Matt Meuse - Dallien

Drums / Backing Vocals

Matt joined Satori in 2017 after taking a short break from music to finish his education. He has played with a number of bands such as Sunday Punch, Runaway Dawson, and The Frequency to name a few. Halifax is where he calls home but he is originally from both Bear River and East Hants, NS. Although he plays a variety of instruments, drums and vocals are his main focus in this group. He’s primarily influenced by pop music and brings that aspect to the group.
